Linda-Vista-Skatepark-1030x579

We have got some exciting news for our local skate community here in San Diego. Most of you have probably heard about the world class skate park is being built in the valley of our very on Linda Vista. The park was designed by Site Design Group from Carlsbad, CA and will be 35,000 square feet of skate heaven once the park is completed. Located at San Diego Recreation Centers 7064 Levant St. San Diego, CA 92111.

What Makes it Epic

The park will be equipped with a competition sized vert bowl, massive street zone, snaking ditch run, transition snake run, flow bowl, and signature full pipe. The coolest thing about the park is that all of these features are weaved into the natural terrain and landscape it was built on.

Why it’s Great for The Community

The park also doesn’t obstruct pedestrians or create any obstacles, because they have built a pedestrian bridge directly above the skate park that spans over the width of the park. This will be San Diego’s largest skate park and in 7 short months the park will open on August 15th. Until then, we can all live vicariously through the “Sims” like people in these photos!
