Vans Pro Skate Park Series

Vans is holding an international competition, and the prize purse for this one is high! This is the very first World Championship of park skateboarding. The prize purse at each qualifier is at $75,000, making the total prize purse totaling over one half million US dollars. Through this event, Vans is looking to promote the discipline of park terrain riding to a world wide scale. The features in the competitions include spines, angled hips, extensions, escalators, set-back walls, elevation changes, gaps and transfers, variable grinding surfaces, etc. This competition is also open to all pro men and women skaters. 2016 is the mark of Vans 50th anniversary, which makes it the perfect year to promote skate progression around the world.

The Boardr Am Series

The Boardr Am Series are skateboard events open to all the amateurs. It is a great event with a $250.00 purse prize at each stop. There are 100 open spots at each stop, so hurry to claim your spot before they fill up! The winner of each location will be flown to the X Games, in Austin, to meet the other qualified amateurs. Events will be held in California, Arizona, Georgia, New York City, and Florida. Some locations are TBD, so check out our events page for updates. This is a good chance for all the amateurs to participate and to have the chance to travel to Austin, where Texas is keeping it weird. Good luck!
