Last Minute Gift Fixes: Give a Custom Board in a Card or Give a Gift Card

2 Perfect (last minute) Gifts for the Holidays! Skateboard in a Card, or as a Gift Card!

Are you looking to give the perfect gift to a longboarder or skater who would LOVE a custom board? Well, depending on the date you may still have time to get it in the mail, but if it’s too late to get it shipped in time now or you don’t want to splurge for a rush order, well, we have the PERFECT 2 rad gift solutions for you, with TWO different ways you can give a custom board as a gift!

Last Minute Gift #1 – The Coolest Card Anyone Ever Will Receive.

(Print the design and put it in a card!)

Design a Board »

When you create a custom board design on our site, it creates a preview image of the deck that you can print out. Simply print out the page or the image itself, fold it up and slide the page with the board photo into a card. This will be the best card someone special has ever opened when they see it’s not the typical card – it has a sweet custom skateboard or longboard inside! This is sure to put a happy surprise smile on someone’s face this Christmas, even if you do it the night before ;) Boards start at $59.99.

Last Minute Gift #2 – Gift Card

A voucher to Design Your Own!

Shop Gift Cards »

Our gift cards are always a great way to give someone the gift of customization while still allowing them to make their own design. Purchase a gift card right here from our site in the Shop section. We’ll email you a graphic of a gift card with the code on it that you can print out and stick into a holiday card and give someone the chance to design their own board! They will be stoked when they realize they get to design something themselves and have it shipped right to their door. Please allow 24-48 hours for the gift card to be emailed to you. Gift Cards start at $25.00.

Still Got Time?

To check if you still have time to get a custom deck in the mail by Christmas, check our page here:

Introducing The Whatever Games + Design Challenge!

Welcome to The Whatever Games!

The Whatever Games

The Whatever Games (TWG) is our newly launched competition for our team + ambassadors that will also include occasional challenges that will be open to the public. The challenges for our team will include everything from tricks to dope skate spots to viral social posts and even crazy scavenger hunts. We will be picking annual winners (sometimes monthly) from our leaderboards who will get some sick prizes. There will be prizes for skater of the year, trick of the year, skate of the year and more. You can follow along with the games on our website or on Instagram by searching the hashtag #TheWhateverGames. The public challenges will be announced on our social media and will feature one time prizes.

The first public challenge is…

Design a Custom Deck with the Theme of “PEACE”

As part of The Whatever Games we will be hosting a monthly design contest. This will be a TWG challenge that will always be open to the public.

PEACE-BALANCE-JUSTICE-rollforpeace-design-contest-whatever-skateboards

If you’ve ever wanted to see your original artwork on a skateboard, now is your chance. We are looking for the next Whatever Skateboards designer. We want someone who screams creativity and originality as well as someone who is stoked on skating.

Join us in spreading Peace, Balance & Justice in partnership with Concrete Wave Magazine and Shralpers Union. As mentioned above, the theme of this month’s design contest will be PEACE and is sponsored by Roll For Peace.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Design a custom deck on our website with your own original artwork that ties into the theme. 2. Post your custom design on your Instagram with the hashtag #TheWhateverGames and tag @whateverskateboards and @concretewavemag.

Contest will run until the end of September and a winner will be announced on our Instagram at the end of October.

Good luck!

Check out our events page for specific details such as exact location, time, and schedule of this year’s events. We will keep you up to date with new event posts throughout the year.

Vans Pro Skate Park Series

Vans is holding an international competition, and the prize purse for this one is high! This is the very first World Championship of park skateboarding. The prize purse at each qualifier is at $75,000, making the total prize purse totaling over one half million US dollars. Through this event, Vans is looking to promote the discipline of park terrain riding to a world wide scale. The features in the competitions include spines, angled hips, extensions, escalators, set-back walls, elevation changes, gaps and transfers, variable grinding surfaces, etc. This competition is also open to all pro men and women skaters. 2016 is the mark of Vans 50th anniversary, which makes it the perfect year to promote skate progression around the world.

The Boardr Am Series

The Boardr Am Series are skateboard events open to all the amateurs. It is a great event with a $250.00 purse prize at each stop. There are 100 open spots at each stop, so hurry to claim your spot before they fill up! The winner of each location will be flown to the X Games, in Austin, to meet the other qualified amateurs. Events will be held in California, Arizona, Georgia, New York City, and Florida. Some locations are TBD, so check out our events page for updates. This is a good chance for all the amateurs to participate and to have the chance to travel to Austin, where Texas is keeping it weird. Good luck!
